On October 21st, Party Committee Secretary of Beijing Cai Qi, Party Committee Deputy Secretary of Beijing, Mayor of Beijing Chen Jining, Party Committee Secretary of Hebei province Wang Dongfeng, Governor of Hebei province Xu Qin and dozens of officials from Beijing and Hebei Province visited the exhibition of achievements of major science and technology projects of Beijing held in Zhongguancun Exhibition Center. They inspected SinoHytec’s series of fuel cell engine products and listened to the report from SinoHytec’s Chairman and CEO Zhang Guoqiang.

The series of hydrogen fuel cell engines of SinoHytec exhibited this time have a power coverage of 30kW-100kW. Low temperature start-up at -30°C, low temperature storage at -40°C have been realized. The products have excellent environmental tolerance, and can operate in cold environment with high altitude and low humidity. The performance has reached the international advanced level. The vehicles equipped with this series of products have been operating in Beijing, Zhangjiakou and Zhengzhou. In the exhibition the TS hydrogen fuel cell engine is also exhibited. It is a product developed by SinoHytec and Toyota for the 2022 Winter Olympics. It will be used together with SinoHytec's own hydrogen fuel cell engines to serve the Green Winter Olympics.

Over the years, SinoHytec has focused on the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei hydrogen energy industry and formed a coordinated industrial layout with Beijing as its headquarters and R&D center, and Zhangjiakou and other places as manufacturing bases. Relying on the R&D headquarters, the company has set up in Beijing Future Science City the largest hydrogen fuel cell test and pilot test center in China with leading technology and the most complete test projects in China. The company has built China's first semi-automatic production line of hydrogen fuel cell engines in Zhangjiakou and cooperated with upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain in Beijing and Zhangjiakou, such as PetroChina, Sinopec, Foton, Beijing Public Transport, Kingston, and CSIC 718 to focus on  hydrogen storage and transportation, research, test and production of key components, and research and development of hydrogen fuel cell engines and commercialization and operation of fuel cell vehicles. Thus, to effectively promote the localization of key components, and the development and integration of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei hydrogen energy industry.

Under the supports of leaders at various levels in various places, SinoHytec has evolved from an institute which focused on research to a promoter of operation and industrialization of China's hydrogen fuel cell industry.
