In the 2^nd China International Import Expo, one hydrogen fuel cell bus will be shown in the new opened area for vehicle’s innovative technology and automated driving experience. This debut has been reported by several TV programs of CCTV like “Live News” and “China News”. The hydrogen fuel cell engine system of the vehicle generates electricity through the electrochemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen. The only emission is water and long driving mileage can be realized. The "large mobile air filter unit" specifically mentioned in the report is an air filter that physically and chemically filters harmful gases in the air, effectively extending the life of the hydrogen fuel cell engine system. In addition to the demonstration of hydrogen fuel technology as an innovation for automobiles, the bus will also be used as a shuttle bus during the Expo.

This hydrogen fuel cell bus is 9-meter long and is the first product jointly launched by SinoHytec, Toyota Motor and Foton. The three parties signed a MOU last year and agreed to, based on the technical advantages and industrial accumulation of the parties in the field of stacks, power systems, vehicle integration, etc., jointly develope 9-meter and 12-meter hydrogen fuel cell buses for the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Winter Olympics in 2022.
